Read Seth’s blog about his 16 year-old brother who will no doubt be scoring films for the rest of his life. This kid has serious talent. And if you have any measure of intelligence inside of you, you will watch the video below.

Travels

I feel like I traveled the entire state of California last week…

I landed in L.A. last Tuesday night and immediately started brainstorming with Will Hamilton in the hopes of creating something that someone would pay money for. That lasted a few hours until Julian Smith showed up and he and I headed north to Simi Valley for the night. The rest of the week looked something like this:

Wednesday
- Drove north 5 hours to Palo Alto
- Dinner @ Facebook
- Started getting sick

Thursday
- Shoot @ Facebook
- Sickness
- Lunch @ Facebook
- Drive north to San Bruno
- No rooms available in hotel
- Booked meeting room for sleeping (no shower)
- Drinking Dayquil like it’s water
- Julian edits until 1 a.m.

Friday
- Facebook video approved by higher ups
- Dayquil
- Tour & lunch @ Youtube
- Drive 5 hours south to L.A.

Saturday
- Sick/Dayquil
- Work with WIll
- Watch TIme Closet trailer like it’s my job
- Dinner w/ Chris Adams & Julian
- Beat Time Crisis 4 @ arcade

Sunday
- Breakfast w/ Chris Adams
- Work w/ Will
- Sickness begins to fade

Monday
- Put final touches on things that people may pay money for
- Plane
- Home
- Sleep

I should have been able to make it through the week without a problem but the continual sickness made it almost unbearable. Add to that the fact that I almost wrecked Julian’s rental car, left my right contact on the bathroom counter overnight (I don’t have glasses) and slammed my sunglasses in the truck of the rental car, the week almost qualified as a week from hell. The only reason it didn’t qualify is because I was able to focus on all the exciting things going on around me.

Anyway. Watch the video Julian and I shot here.

And the Time Closet trailer here. (or download the quicktime version. it’s worth it)
